This class is 2.5 hours of content devoted to all aspects of infant feeding. The majority of the class is devoted to breastfeeding but there are sections on pumping, supplementing, and formula feeding. As a Registered Nurse and Breastfeeding Specialist, I recognize that breastfeeding is the optimal nutrition for infants. However, infant feeding can be complicated by medical and environmental factors and I believe it is vital for the expat family to have a broad foundation for all forms on infant feeding so they can be empowered to make decisions for their family.
This is a 2 hour coaching session dedicated to empowering dad. Time is taken to discuss concerns to each unique experience, get on the same page about the birth plan, embolden positive advocacy, and learn comfort measure techniques. Having knowledge and a game plan help decrease anxiety and increase the likelihood of a positive experience for the whole family. (Includes a workbook)
