Pregnancy Announcement Setup

Helping families navigate pregnancy, birth, and postpartum overseas with confidence.

"My goal is to walk with you from conception to postpartum, help you carry the mental load, and serve you through nuanced education, resources, and coaching so that your family can thrive wherever you call home."

~Chandler

Navigating pregnancy, birth, and postpartum outside of your passport country can mean...

  • Processing shifts in your family in the midst of cross-cultural life

  • Learning how to navigate a new medical system

  • Learning how to advocate for your desires and needs cross-culturally

  • Balancing your preferences, hopes, and dreams with the reality of care in your current location

  • Thinking about visas, passports, and embassy appointments right after birth

  • Grieving the loss of your traditional support system or care options in your passport country

  • Connecting with the local culture in new ways

  • Increased mental load of care and parenting decisions while navigating language learning, ministry/work demands, and/or daily culture stress

Coaching

Walking with parents is what fills my cup. I truly get so much joy from answering questions, helping troubleshoot, debriefing doctor's visits, helping to track down resources, and empowering parents to make informed decisions that are best for their family's specific needs.

I do not offer medical advice outside of breastfeeding consults. However, I will always point parents to evidence based information so they can better dialogue with their care team and understand their options before making a decision.

Classes

Childbirth education made specifically for families navigating birth abroad.

The Expat Birth Class and the Infant Feeding Class contain nearly 10 hours of educational videos, 1 companion workbook, 4 handouts, and numerous links for further reading to help your family holistically prepare and plan for the perinatal season (conception to 1 year postpartum) abroad.

Debriefs and Workbooks

The Holistic Perinatal Planning Workbook and Expat Birth Plan Guide help you think through mental, emotional, and physical preparations as well as practical decision-making to empower you to pivot with confidence, no matter how your story unfolds.

A Guide to Birth Story Processing is available with and without faith integration. It is a three or four-part framework designed to break down your story into smaller parts and walk you through exercises to process each part.

“The Global Birth Coach was a great resource for me when I was preparing to give birth abroad. I didn’t get to utilize all of the resources due to time and other commitments, but I really enjoyed what I was able to watch and listen to, and had it been my first birth, I’m sure I would have benefited even more. I especially loved the Facebook group, where I was able to read about others’ stories and find answers to commonly asked questions. I would recommend that anyone giving birth abroad utilize the resources provided by the global birth coach in order to go into birth in a foreign place confidently."

"We were so thankful to find The Global Birth Coach and The Expat Birth Podcast. It brought a lot of comfort hearing other people’s stories, and it was great being able to chat with Chandler after walking through the lessons.

I really appreciated how she incorporated how our overseas life, though it adds complications, also allows for really great learning, connection, and resilience when it comes to birthing and simply living overseas.

The course helped me make realistic goals and also encouraged me to advocate for myself and what was important to me in my birth plan.

She provided a lot of great additional resources as well, and had another course on breastfeeding.

We would recommend her courses to other expats and, honestly, those birthing in their normal contexts as well."

"Chandler was knowledgeable, available, and so incredibly encouraging to work with. She brought peace to a difficult and complicated pregnancy and helped me believe I could have a non-medicated birth by equipping me with knowledge and confidence.”

In 2025, I began charging for products/services, allowing me to step into this space full-time and dedicate the necessary time and resources to deliver the best possible service to families in our community.

I have tried to price everything affordably; however, if the prices listed are not in your budget, please reach out to me at info@theglobalbirthcoach.com .

I still wholeheartedly believe all families deserve access to quality perinatal education.
