Jenny is a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator and Biblical Counselor living in Nairobi, Kenya since 2015. She helps expecting couples prepare for childbirth both physically and spiritually through her podcast, Preparing for Childbirth, as well as the Growing in Confidence and Peace Childbirth Course, which she offers in an online self-paced format with a live interactive component. If you’re local to Nairobi, you could join her hybrid course, which is offered quarterly and includes an in-person workshop day.

Through listening and gentle exploration, Christine helps women discover healing, meaning, and beauty within their stories during this profoundly transformative season of life.

 

Christine holds an MS in Christian Counseling and a Birth Story Listening certificate from Birth Story Medicine. Having lived abroad for eight years and welcomed two of her own babies overseas, she brings both personal experience and professional training to her work.

 

She offers a sliding scale and need-based payment options, ensuring that every woman who seeks support can access it. Above all, Christine finds joy in celebrating and honoring stories of all kinds, believing that every story deserves to be witnessed and valued.

Shannon Stellhorn

Shannon Stellhorn is a Certified Professional Midwife in the USA, Licensed Midwife in Texas, a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, and IBCLC. She now resides in Scotland with her family and practices as an IBCLC there.

Her first baby was born in 2008, and that ignited her passion to support couples through the childbearing years, first as a doula, then midwife, and now as a lactation consultant.

​

Shannon is a mom of 7 children, all of whom she has breastfed, and encountered numerous breastfeeding challenges that she personally persevered through. 

​

She entered the world of birth support in 2007, sat her midwifery exams, and opened her practice in 2012. She has supported over 500 births over the years.​​

She is the mother of three children (two born abroad), and currently facilitates an in-person group for pregnant and postpartum moms in her city.
